Modern Classrooms

Teachings in modern classrooms

Leave much to be said,

Merely offering a minimum,

The truth can be shed.

With a society bent

On gratification being instant,

Cerebral effort is a rarity,

Let us all wave good-bye to any dexterity!

A clichéd heart will beat ordinary words,

Filled with generalizations about matters barely heard.

Superficial fulfillment seems satisfying,

But we all know a half-truth is still called lying.

Cable and news offer garbage spontaneously,

Supplying a dull fix almost intravenously.

This removal of desire has made us all numb,

Fragmented souls are what we’ve become.
